Review on Huawei U8150 Ideos or what i call kabambe wifi

Huawei U8150 Ideos are really good phones considering it uses Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo) thus making it a smartphone (although i still have issues with them being classified as smartphones or any other android powered phones but that's my view) and also have wifi connectivety thats allows you to connect to the web. It also enables you to have a choice for over 60000 apps that you can find from the Android market.
Best thing about this phone is that its affordable and the functionality is massive.

But there are still a number of problems that people encounter with this phones - like the battery life is short, it over heats when your browsing or downloading some files and it uses lots of airtime - All this is problems are cause by the fact that it automately connects to the internet without asking for permission even the least confirms with the user plus the default web settings are to use 3g connection which uses lots of energy and causes over heating.
The best way to handle this kind of problem is by disabling the access point from connecting to the web whenever you do need it by going to settings, network settings then on the access point just uncheck it. But if you find a need to always be online, like for those people who would like to get real time email updates then i suggest you turn off 3g and just stick to good old edge which alternatively uses less energy. Plus you can identify with the apps that automately connects to the web for updates and turn off the updates.
Now atleast you have tips on how to maintain your kabambe wifi or sorry Ideos phone.
